Wager: $1,000. Washington Nationals will play Game 3 vs. the Texas Rangers at 4:05 EST.  Washington will start Scherzer, one of our favorite pitchers, who allowed only 2 earned runs in 24 2/3 innings, while striking out 38 in his last three outings. He had 14Ks vs. the Dodgers on Tues., 11 vs. the Giants on May 31, and 13 vs. the Padres on May 26. The NL strikeout leader (114) is 7-3, and also holds a career-best 2.35 ERA. T. Rangers will counter with the 'unknown' Austin Bibens-Dirkx, who'll be making his second Major League start. In his prior start, he allowed three runs in 4 2/3 innings against the Rays, and has a limited MLB history.  The Nats lost Game 2 yesterday in extra innings after missing to complete the "W" in the bottom of the 9th, when Turner tried to surprise with a bunt, but the pinch-runner Difo foolishly stopped between 3rd & home, and they got him out. UPDATE: Washington Nationals 1-5 Texas Rangers. In a totally 'fixed game', Texas Rangers were able to get the victory over the W Nats in the end of the game by scoring 4 runs in the 8th: Texas pitcher, the "No-No"-guy Dirkx, came out of nowhere to "match the performance" and the class of the multimillion dollar superstar Scherzer. Everyone, who knows baseball well, understands that's not possible: Nats' offense simply stopped playing after the 1st inning. When a game is fixed that way, there is absolutely NOTHING you could do, just re-group and try to recover quickly - our bet lost.

The Dodgers, who won Game 1 yesterday, will counter with McCarthy, 3.28 ERA overall; he is not that good on the road, where he lost the last 2 games and has an ERA of over 4.0. This will favor the Indians, who shall even the score of the series tonight. With that, we pick Cleveland Indians + the spread of (+1.5) R., @ BET365:1.33 (-300). Wager: $150. UPDATE: Cleveland Indians 4-6 L.A. Dodgers. Indians top reliever Andrew Miller fell apart and allowed 4 runs late in the 8th inning to give the Dodgers a 2-run win. It was another "fixed game" since the gen. public took Kluber to win, so Vegas collected again. I did not choose the spread of (+3.5) Runs here, but I played it in my Parlay, which actually was a winner, but for the record here, we register it as a loss ($-150).

BONUS Pick:  Matrix888:  Our 8th pick,  MLB:  Colorado Rockies  -  San Francisco Giants,  08:40 pm ET. Colorado Rockies will play Game 1 vs. the Giants. The Rockies will start Hoffman, 4-0, 2.33 ERA, who tossed three straight quality starts, going 6 1/3 innings and allowing 1 run, while striking out 8 in his last outing against the Cubs. He's been stellar for the Rockies. Giants will match him with Matt Moore (2-7, 5.28 ERA), who recorded 2 losses in his last road 2 starts, and surrendered 14 runs on 13 hits, ERA 5+, high. Colorado is back home, and it is time for them to pick the pace and win.
