Sale is now dominating for the Red Sox, with a 5-2 record, and low 2.34 ERA. He will face Quintana, who is struggling, 2-6, 4.82 ERA, in his first season as Chicago's No. 1 pitcher. Sale is expected to get an easy win tonight. Needless to say, Wh. Sox left fielder M. Cabrera has had a tough time against Sale in his career, going 1-for-11. UPDATE, May 31, 2017: Boston Red Sox 13-7 Chicago White Sox. As we predicted above, Chris Sale got the "W", as he helped the Red Sox winning this game, but it was not that easy, as he allowed six(!) runs, quite surprising to us. The good news for us: the Red Sox offense was what we've expected, by pounding the poor Quintana with 7 runs for 2.5 innings of play, which basically got him out of the game. Marrero, Boston's No. 9 hitter, who started the contest with a .175 average, 1 HR and 6 RBIs, homered in both the second and third inning off Quintana, giving him total of 5 RBIs. Our Bet is a winner: $1,000 investment returns $1,200, $200 Net Profit 20% ROI, very easy and comfortable win for us, despite the large wager.

Chicago will counter with Mike Pelfrey (2-4, 4.41), who has a 2-0 record and 1.64 ERA over his last two starts, including a win over the Tigers.  Last night everyone was expecting a low scoring game, and Vegas had the "clean up", since the game ended way over with 20 runs being scored. Pomeranz threw 7 innings of 1-run ball and benefited from four runs in the sixth inning as the Red Sox beat the White Sox by 3 runs.
