S A Spurs - Miami Heat (Option 'Alt. Point Spread') |
SA Spurs (-4.0 Pts) 1.33 (Bet365.com) |
San Antonio Spurs will play the Miami Heat at the ATT center tonight, as the game will be available on Fox Sports San Antonio, with tip-off set for 8:30 p.m. EST. The Spurs just beat [a win-revenge] Houston Rockets on the road 106-100, while Miami Heat lost 91-102 at Utah to register their 4th loss in a row. Things are not going well for Miami this season - the team is 4th in the SouthEast Division, with the lousy record of 2-6. Spurs had a little setback at home recently by losing two straight games, but then they picked up the pace and won 2 in a row now, keeping them 1st in the SouthWest Division with a record of 7-3. San Antonio has been very impressive on the road: 5-0. They are still 2nd in the league in 3-pt % (38.6%), and they shall cover the "Alternative Point Spread" of (-4.0 pts.) @ Bet365. With that, I pick the San Antonio Spurs with (-4.0) points. [Unless the amount to bet is specified, our predictions are generally made for a $100 wager.]
UPDATE November 15, 2016 - FINAL Result: San Antonio Spurs 94-90 Miami Heat. San Antonio Spurs recorded a 94-90 win over Miami last night. Kawhi Leonard had 24 points and 12 rebounds, LaMarcus Aldridge added 18 points, and the Spurs held on to beat Miami by exactly 4 points on Monday night. So, our Bet was a PUSH, no loss, contrary to many players, betting on the basic odds of Las Vegas (Spurs -11 pts.), who lost miserably. That is why I am emphasizing so much on the Alternative Point Spread, and getting an account with BET365 - it helps in situations like this. It is funny that after I posted this news on the web, BET365 extended the line down to (-3) pts., so I did place a bet for the Spurs @(-3.5) pts., a bet that won. Unfortunately, it wasn't fair to share it after we posted our prediction of (-4.0 pts.). In any event, the Heat held the Spurs to 26 percent shooting in the 2nd half; Spurs had a season-high 17 turnovers. Miami's Hassan Whiteside had another monster game vs. the Spurs with 23 points and 17 rebounds. Paul Gasol finished with 12 points, T. Parker added 11 points and 6 assists. Up Next: The Spurs will play at Sacramento on Wednesday night at 10:30 p.m. EST.
