Palermo - Udinese-Italy Serie A

Round 10 of Italian Serie A will conclude today:  Palermo hosts Udinese on Thursday night at 20:45 CET (2:45 p.m. EST, U.S.), at Stadium Renzo Barbera.  Palermo is 19th in the Serie A standings with only 6 points, as they lost 5 league games this season.  Palermo registered 2 huge losses in their last 2 games - 1:4 at home vs. Torino, and 1:4 on the road at Roma. They concede a lot of goals this season. Udinese won 3-1 at home vs. Pescara in their last game.  Udinese is 16th in the Serie A standings with 10 points; they are playing much better football, since arriving of a new head coach, Del Neri.  The overall stats show that Palermo won their last 3 meetings vs. Udinese, home and away, scoring 8 goals, conceding only 2.  So, my expectations are, Udinese and Palermo will score some goals.  In any event, Palermo's defense is terrible, as they allowed 11 goals in the last 5 matches, an average of 2.2 goals per match. With that, I pick the option Match Total -"Alternative Goal Line" straight (Over 1.5 goals).

UPDATE October 27, 2016 - FINAL Result:  Palermo 1-3 Udinese.  Udinese crushed Palermo in the last game in round 10 of Serie A:  Théréau and Fofana (twice) scored 3 goals for the visitors, and Nestorovski put one for the home side to erase partially the embarrassment. As we expected, this game was a high-scoring, since Palermo's defense is simply not in existence [analyzed above] - they allowed again 3 goals at home and the match total finished away above of our projection of (Over 1.5 goals)   - ea  sy win for us.
