San Antonio Spurs - Sacramento Kings - NBA

San Antonio Spurs play their 2nd game of the new NBA season Thursday night on the road against Sacramento Kings. The Spurs had a perfect performance 2 days ago at the Oracle Arena vs. the Golden State Warriors - they decimated the home team by 29 points, without even getting any significant production from Paul Gasol.  So, I expect Gasol to have a good game tonight. San Antonio is a deep team this season, [as we wrote a large article during their pre-season games], and they should have a strong regular season like in 2015/16.  Sacramento Kings, on the other hand, is a team of starters only - they won last night on the road against Phoenix, but their bench is really not there, i.e. it does not exist. You cannot defeat the Spurs without a solid bench.  With that, I pick the Spurs with the Option "Alternat. Point Spread":  Spurs (-2.0 pts.).

UPDATE October 27, 2016 - FINAL Result: San Antonio Spurs  102-94  Sacramento Kings. The Spurs registered a 2nd road victory this week, vs. Sacramento Kings. They've controlled the second half by holding the Kings to only 37 pts., and came away with a 102-94 win in the inaugural game at Golden 1 Center. Kawhi Leonard continued to make the case as an early MVP favorite, scoring a game-high of 30 points. He added 5 assists and 5 more steals, giving him 10 in 2 games.  DeMarcus Cousins kept his team in the game with 37 points and 16 rebounds. Without his single performance, the Kings would've lost by 25-30 pts.  The Spurs super-reserves Dewayne Dedmon and David Lee combined for 24 points, which was vital for the Spurs victory.  If you look at above my short analysis before the game, I stated a team without solid bench cannot beat the Spurs.  Well, last night Spurs bench outscored Kings bench 43-18 - this is your game right there. For more complete and detailed Gematria analysis, visit our Spurs Fan Zone section soon. If you haven't noticed, the final score tied the basic Las Vegas spread of (-8) pts., so the game was considered a "push", if you placed your wagers on the basic straight point line. This is the reason I chose the "Alternative Point Spread" line at (-2.0) pts. - no surprises there, a real winner again for us.
