Champions League Soccer Picks

Round 3 of the European Champions League soccer tournament is set for tonight:  There are 3 soccer games in our focus to present to you - in Game 1 of our selection, Sporting CP hosts Borussia Dortmund in a derby match, which everyone wants to watch. It is a tough call to determine who would win this game. Sporting is in the 3rd place in Group F with 3 points, 3 goals scored and 2 goals allowed. Silva and Spalvis will miss out tonight's game because of injury; Jefferson is doubtful.  Dortmund is in the 1st place in the standings with 4 points, 8 goals scored and 2 goals allowed. Subotic, Sokratis, Schmelzer will miss out this game; other key players - Reus, Guerreiro, Durm, Bender, Schürrle, Ramos, Castro and Piszczek, are doubtful. With that said, I believe there will be goals scored in this game, so I pick the option "Alternative Goal Line" Over 2.0 Goals, i.e., if the match total is exactly 2 goals, the Bet will be void and the wager will be refunded. The 2nd game of our selection features Dinamo Zagreb and Sevilla.  Zagreb is in the last place in Group H with 0 points, 0 goals scored and 7 goals allowed. Sevilla is in the 2nd place of the group with 4 points, 1 goal scored and 4 goals allowed. The visitors from Spain have the same number of points as the leader of the group Juventus. With that said, I expect Sevilla to win this match, thus I pick them in the Money Line (ML) with the option "Draw No Bet", i.e., if the game is tied after 90 mins., the Bet is Void. In the last game of our selection, Bayer Leverkusen hosts Tottenham in another derby.  Bayer Leverkusen is in 3rd place in Group E with 2 points, 3 goals scored and 3 goals allowed. In the last home game in the Bundesliga, Bayer beat 2-0 very difficult opponent - Borussia Dortmund.  Tottenham is ranked 2nd in Group E with 3 points, 2 goals scored and 2 goals received. Overall, they have not lost in 5 games, thus, it is time for them to lose a game.  With that said, I pick the home team Bayer L. to win the game in the Money Line (ML) with the option "Draw No Bet", i.e., if the game is tied after 90 mins., the Bet is Void.

UPDATE October 19, 2016 - FINAL Results:   Sporting 1-2  Borussia Dortmund;  Dinamo Zagreb 0-1 Sevilla;  Bayer Leverkusen  0-0 Tottenham.  As we predicted and projected, both teams played a good game and scored goals (Over 2.0 Goals).  Dortmund took a 2-0 lead, which was enough to secure the victory - Weigl and Aubameyang scored for Borussia. Br. César pulled one back for Sporting, but it was not their day - B. Dortmund consolidated their top position, as leaders, of Group F with 7 pts. Sevilla defeated Dinamo, as we expected, by 1-0 - Nasri's finish gave the visitors from Spain 3 points.  With the win, Sevilla has 7 pts in Group H, Dinamo was left with zero pts. Bayer Leverkusen and Tottenham H. settled to a 0-0 draw. The home side from Germany had so many chances to win this game, especially in the 2nd half, but they missed them all. The stats show Bayer overpowered Tottenham: 5 vs. 1 shots ON target, and 8 vs. 2 shots OFF target, but they could not win the game. Since the game was tied after 90 mins (0-0), this Bet is Void (wager shall be returned). In summary, we are 2-2 for the day, with 1 Bet canceled, so, we extended our free pick-winning streak to 11 days in a row, 18 consecutive winners.
