UPDATE February 18, 2017 - FINAL Result: Carolina Hurricanes 1-2 Colorado Avalanche. Mikko Rantanen scored with 37 seconds remaining in overtime to lift the Colorado Avalanche to a 2-1 win against the Carolina Hurricanes at PNC Arena on Friday. Duchene stole the puck from Rask in Carolina's offensive zone before skating to the top of the left circle and leaving a perfect pass for Rantanen, who scored past Cam Ward's glove. The Avalanche ended a 5-game losing streak, and they scored the 1st goal of the game. Right before the game, the odds moved in favor of the Avalanche for winning the game and scoring the 1st goal, which was highly suspicious. People were betting against Carolina.
