Oklahoma City Thunder - Cleveland Cavaliers - NBA

Wager: $125. Oklahoma City Thunder (OKC) will play the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Chesapeake Energy Arena tonight, as the game will be available on TNT, with tip-off set for 8:00 p.m. EST.  OKC (30-23) has a 2-game homestand vs. the 2 big favorites, who are "supposed to meet in the NBA final this year", the Cavs and the G.S. Warriors (forget about the Spurs, right?). They just lost from Indiana in a low-scoring game by 3 points. A week ago Cleveland destroyed the Thunder at Quicken Loans Arena: 107-91. Even though Westbrook picked up a triple-double, the game got out of hand. Cleveland Cavaliers (36-15) took care of business in the 1st game of a back-to-back situation last night by scoring 132 points vs. the Pacers, so it is going to be difficult for them to complete a sweep when they visit Oklahoma. The Cavs' coach Lue said recently he would try to get LeBron James's average down to less than 34 minutes. James played 38' on Wednesday in Cleveland's 4th straight victory. For tonight's game, the Cavaliers opened as 3-point favorites, and a total at 218. However, as a big surprise, Lue said after yesterday's 132-117 win in Indiana that LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving might all sit out tonight's contest. Hence, the bookies changed the point spread (as they should've done it 2 days ago for the game Memphis-Spurs.  Click here to read my rant!), and put the OKC to be the favorites, currently by (-12) points, and total of 205 points (went down!). However, the "experts" out there still pick Cleveland to win. I think the Cavs are no match to the OKC without their big three, hence, if the game is 'fixed' and the OKC still loses, we won't be able to do anything. UPDATE February 10, 2016 - FINAL Result:  Oklahoma City Thunder 118-109 Cleveland Cavaliers. Russell Westbrook scored 29 points and recorded a 26th triple-double of the season to lead Oklahoma City to a 118-109 win on Thursday night. As I stated above, Cavaliers coach T. Lue said after Wed.'s win at Indiana that he was considering resting All-Stars LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, but they all started. Not only they started, but also James played almost record minutes, i.e. 41' mins. on the floor. This fact itself should've been good enough reason for the game to be taken off the board (OTB). Instead, the bookies changed again the point spread right before the game to put OKC to be the favorites just by (-1.5 points). This whole "game" by Cavs' stars "not playing, but then playing", was absolutely misleading to the general public. Even a 5-year old child would never choose the OKC to score most points in a quarter with the Cavs' big three playing their extended full minutes on the floor. Our assessment for the OKC to score the most points in one quarter was made based on the statement of coach Lue for the "potential resting of the Cavs' big three" in this game. Unfortunately, we have been caught in another NBA conspiracy: Note, the sum of Westbrook's stats (29 Pts., 12 rbs., and 11 asts.) is exactly 52 (29+12+11): "Conspiracy" = 52 in LRG.  Hence, for betting purposes, this Bet is considered wager "CASH-OUT"-VOID right before the start of the game: B365 is one of the few online sportsbooks, which allows a "cash-out" option in all bets, even during LIVE games with proportionally reduced amounts. A "cash-out" option before the start of a game, usually amounts to 99% of your wager being refunded by Bet365, which was the prompt action to take in this game.  For 'stats purpose', with the Cavs' big 3 playing full extend. minutes, their team had the highest scoring quarter, i.e., 36 points in the game, but lost it in the end, to fool all gamblers, who switched bets in the last min. to take the Cavs.
