UPDATE January 18, 2016 - FINAL Result: Calgary Flames  5-2  Florida Panthers. M. Backlund scored 2 goals and an assist and Ch. Johnson made 20 saves to help the Calgary Flames to a 5-2 victory over the Florida Panthers. Mark Giordano had a goal and 2 assists, and K. Versteeg and S. Monahan also scored for the Flames (24-20-3), who opened a 3-game homestand with a solid victory (I pointed out above they should); Florida took an early lead 2-1 in the 1st period, to later see a complete turnaround in the scoreboard: 4 consecutive unanswered goals by the Flames.
