Vancouver Canucks - New Jersey Devils - NHL

We turn again our focus to the NHL: Vancouver Canucks (20-19-5) and New Jersey Devils (17-18-9) will meet face to face tonight. The game will start at 7:00 p.m. EST at Rogers Arena, and will be aired on SN, MSG+, NHL.TV.  Canucks went 0-1-2 on their last road trip, but now return home to Rogers Arena, where they are 15-6-2. Vancouver's weak PP (27th) allowed a shorthanded goal with 2 secs. left in a 2-1 OT loss against Nashville on Tuesday. Goalie R. Miller, who is 5-0-2 in his last 7 starts, is expected to play. The Devils are coming off of a 2-1 win against the Calgary Flames on Friday, which ended a 4 game losing streak (0-2-2) for New Jersey. N.J. UPDATE January 16, 2016 - FINAL Result:  Vancouver Canucks  1-2  New Jersey Devils. T. Hall scored 1:28 (3:32 minutes left) into OT to lift the N. J. Devils to a 2-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks. The Devils scored the tying goal with 3:03 left in the second period. 3:03 (in Hebrew numerals there is no notation for zero) makes the number 33. Cory Schneider made 21 saves for the Devils.  Both Teams had 22 shots on goal (SOG) each. So, 22 and 33, both "in play", which leads ultimately to 66: we discussed all those at length here.
