This shutout was the first of the season for the Florida goalie Luongo and 73rd of his NHL career, 11th-most in League history. Smith scored a PP goal in the 1st P., then Jokinen and Trocheck scored empty-net goals (18:55 and 19:44 in the 3rd) for the Panthers (18-16-8). Cory Schneider made 26 saves for the Devils (16-18-8), who have lost 3 straight, scoring only 3 goals in that span. Both teams scored 3 goals total way below of our forecast of Under 6.5 Gls., and our Bet was a clear winner. It is nice to be back winning again.
