St. Louis Blues - N. J. Devils (Option '2-way Puck Line') |
St. L. Blues (2-way ML) 1.55 (-182) (Bet365) |
We turn again our focus to the NHL: St. Louis Blues (16-10-4) and New Jersey Devils (12-10-6) will meet face to face tonight. The game will start at 8:00 p.m. EST at the Scottrade Center, and will be on FS-MW, MSG+ 2, NHL.TV. The Blues are coming off of a 6-3 questionable road loss to the Nashville Predators on Tuesday, but return home where they are 12-1-3. They are expected to make changes to the lineup after losing 3 of their last 4 games (1-3-0), and I hope they win this game to erase the embarrassment of the 6-3 loss against Nashville. Blues are 21st in "Goals Against" and 2nd in "Penalty Kill %". The Devils lost 3 straight. New Jersey is coming off a 5-0 loss 3 days ago at the New York Rangers, and are still 11th in "Penalty Kill %", showing above average defense. New Jersey will make forwards PA Parenteau and Beau Bennett healthy scratches for this game. The official Las Vegas game line is St. Louis Blues (-1.5 Gls. @ 2.60, Money Line 1.55). With that said, I pick the "2-way Money Line" option for a straight win (including OT and shutouts) @ BET365 (St. Louis Blues). In order to avoid a confusion, we listed the odds in both systems: Decimal and American. Click here to learn the difference between them. Unless the bet amount is defined, our wager is $100.
UPDATE December 16, 2016 - FINAL Result: St. Louis Blues 5-2 New Jersey Devils. Vl. Tarasenko had 1 goal and 2 assists to help give the St. Louis Blues a 5-2 win, as we expected, against the New Jersey Devils at Scottrade Center. With the victory, St. Louis erased the 3-6 loss-embarrassment from Nashville just 2 nights ago. St. Louis is now (17-10-4), as Jake Allen made 24 saves to extend his home winning streak to 8 games; Contrary to 2 nights ago, this time, the Blues rallied, after trailing 2-0, to defeat the Devils (12-11-6) for the 2 time in 7 days. (St. Louis won 4-1 in New Jersey Dec. 9). The Devils have been outscored 19-5 on a 4-game losing streak. Cory Schneider made 26 saves. Goal-scoring stats: Henrique scored on a backhand against Allen at 7:49 of the 1st to give New Jersey 1-0 lead. Wood made it 2-0 at 11:36, but the Blues then scored 5 unanswered goals (it makes me laugh!). Tarasenko made it 2-1 with a power-play goal at 17:06. Lehtera tied it 2-2 at 2:05 of the 2nd period and Pietrangelo gave the Blues a 3-2 lead at 7:45. Yakupov put the Blues up 4-2 at 9:00 of the third period. Berglund scored an empty-net goal at 18:39. For Conspiracy Theorists, believing that every single game is "fixed", here are your clues: Tarasenko started the Blues' comeback with 2:54 (2 mins., 54 secs.) left in the 1st period. 2:54 it could make the number '254'. Note, "NHL is a Black Magic" = 254 in Latin Gematria. Lehtera's tying goal happened at 2:05 in the 2nd. 2:05 is read as '205'. Note, "Rigged NHL Hockey" = 205 in Engl. Kabbalah #2. Yakupov scored the 4th goal at 9:00 of the 3rd. 9:00 makes the number '900'. Note, "Rigged NHL" = 900 in Latin Expanded Gematria #2. The game's final score 5-2 makes the Nu. '52'. Note, "NHL hoax" = 52 in English Kabbalah #3; also "Conspiracy" = 52 in Latin Reduction Gematria. The Blues got the victory by a margin of 3 goals, we won: $100 investm. results in tot. return of $155 ($100 Principal + $55 Net Profit). Our NHL record of FREE Picks, since Nov. 17, is 13-5: 72.22% winners. We won 3 Fr.P. in a row.
