Crotone - Torino (Option "Alt. Goal Line") |
Match Total (O. 2.0 G) 1.40 (Bet365.com) |
Round 13 of Italian Serie A continues today: Crotone and Torino will meet face to face on Sunday at 15:00 CET (09:00 a.m. EST, U.S.), at Stadio Ezio Scida, Crotone. Crotone is ranked 20th in the ranking of Serie A with only 5 points accumulated in 12 matches of the championship. In the last round, the home team was defeated at Inter, 0-3. Dos Santos Claiton will be absent from the hosts because of medical reasons. Torino is seeking to go in top 5 of the table. The visitors are 7th in the league standings with 19 points after 12 rounds. Crotone allowed 5 goals in their last 5 games, i.e., an average of 1 goal per game; Torino scored 17 goals in the last 5 games, i.e., an average of 3.4 goals per game, so they seem strong upfront, in offense. Thus, I expect at least 2 goals in this game, so I pick match total (Over 2.0 goals) with the option "Alternative Goal Line", i.e. if both teams score exactly 2 goals total in 90 mins., the Bet is Void and the wager is returned [a "safety net"]. [Unless the amount to bet is specified, our predictions are generally made for a $100 wager.]
UPDATE November 20, 2016 - FINAL Result: Crotone 0-2 Torino. Andrea Belotti scored 2 late goals to give Torino the 2-0 victory away from home, over Crotone. Crotone had the first chance in the match to score, as Joe Hart flew to fingertip an Andrea Barberis strike out from under the crossbar. However, the visitors were more experienced and earned the victory in the 2nd half. Crotone thought they’d at least get a consolation goal in stoppages, but Hart made himself big twice in quick succession on Falcinelli. His saves cost us to win this Bet - the match total was exactly 2 goals, i.e. cancelling the Bet = VOID.
