Green Bay Packers vs. Indianapolis Colts

We turn our attention to American Football - Week 9 matchups:  Green Bay Packers [the Home team] and Indianapolis Colts will meet face to face on "Sunday Football", Nov. 06.  The game will be played at Lambeau Field, at 4:25 p.m. ET start time and will be broadcasted on CBS.  According to the official stats, the Green Bay wins the home matchup between the 2 teams over 70%. Indianapolis Colts lead the series 22-21-1 in the teams’ 42 regular season meetings all time. The last game played between them was on 10/07/2012 at Indianapolis Colts Lucas Oil Stadium (Indianapolis, IN), and Green Bay lost 30-27. Indianapolis (3-5) gets to the game after a lousy (30-14) loss to Kansas City a week ago. The Packers (4-3) are coming off of a loss as well, but they fell at Atlanta in a much closer game last week, 33-32. The Packers gave up 367 yards to the Falcons. Aaron Rodgers went 28-for-38 passing for 246 yards and 4 touchdowns, while also picking up 60 yards on the ground, so he played really well, but felt short. The Colts’ offense struggled against Kansas city as it managed just 277 yards on the day, while allowing 422 yards to the Chiefs. Andrew Luck threw 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. Green Bay’s offense is one of the more solid units in the NFL.  On the other hand, Indy’s poor defense has been brutal this year, as it ranks only 29th in the league, giving up over 400+ yards per game. On the other hand, if we look at the game itself, I believe Aaon Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers’ offense will be far too much for the Indianapolis Colts, especially when the game is at Lambeau Field. Thus, I pick Green Bay Packers with the spread of (-3.0 points), and if your bet provider does not have that option (bet365) -"Alternative Point Spread", I would go GB straight in the Money Line (ML).

UPDATE November 07, 2016 - FINAL Result: Green Bay Packers 26-31 Indianapolis Colts. Indianapolis pulled off an upset (astonishing) win over the Packers in Lambeau Field on Sunday, beating Green Bay by 5 pts. The Colts took a 24-10 lead into the half, and extended it to 31-13 early in the 4th quarter. After "oversleeping" most of the game [3 1/3 quarters], doing absolutely nothing, the Packers woke up and made a late effort to comeback in the 4th by scoring 2 late touchdowns [just to show everyone, if they really want it, they could've won easily this game! They just gave it away!], but still, it wasn't enough to overcome the 31-13 deficit they incurred prior to that. We ended up the day 2-1 (you cannot win all picks) out of the 3 free daily picks, which is, still, a very good result.
