Champions League Soccer Picks

Round 4 of the European Champions League soccer tournament continues tonight:  There are 3 soccer games in our focus to present to you - in Game 1 of our selection, FC Copenhagen is playing Leicester City. FC Copenhagen is undefeated in 8 of their last 9 matches in UEFA CL. They are in the second place in the standings, 4 points behind Leicester, with 5 goals scored and 2 goals allowed.  Leicester is firmly in the 1st place in Group G with 9 points and 3 wins in a row in Champions League, 5 goals scored and 0 goals allowed, i.e., their defense is excellent. I expect both teams to play strong defensive soccer and not allow many goals in this match, so with that said, I pick the option "Alternative Goal Line" Under 3.5 Goals. The 2nd game of our selection features Sevilla and Dinamo Zagreb.  Sevilla is 2nd in Group H with 7 points, 2 goals scored and 0 goals allowed. If Sevilla wins this game, they will qualify to play in the UEFA Champions League in the spring.  The Spanish side is unbeaten in their last 4 CL matches. Dinamo is the worst team in Group H with 0 points and goal difference of 0-8. They have no chance to defeat Sevilla today. With that said, I expect Sevilla to win this match, thus I pick them straight in the Money Line (ML). In the last game of our selection, Tottenham H. hosts Bayer Leverkusen in London in a Derby match. Tottenham is 2nd in Group E with 4 points, 2 goals scored and 2 goals allowed.  Bayer Leverkusen finished their last 5 matches in UEFA Champions League with 5 consecutive ties. They are in 3rd place in Group E with 3 points, 3 goals scored and 3 goals allowed. With that said, I pick the home team Tottenham H. to win the game in the Money Line (ML) with the option "Draw No Bet", i.e., if the game is tied after 90 mins., the Bet is Void.

UPDATE November 03, 2016 - FINAL Results: Copenhagen 0-0 Leicester, Sevilla 4-0 Dinamo Zagreb, Tottenham 0-1 Bayer L.. Copenhagen and Leicester finished in a 0-0 draw, and as we expected, they did not score over 3.5 goals, a clear winner for us, a big one. The easiest game of the day - Sevilla crushed Zagreb 4-0, another easy and clear winner for us, the 2nd one of the day.  In game 3 of our selection, Tottenham lost at home 0-1, but they had the advantage during the entire game and hit twice the cross bar, just no luck for them that day; ball possession for Tottenham was 60% vs. Bayer's 40%. It happens in football - Bayer was defensive most of the time, and during one of their counters, they scored a rare goal that turned to be the winner.
