Denver Broncos vs. Houston Texans

We turn our attention to American Football - Week 7 matchups:  Denver Broncos [the Home team] and Houston Texans will meet face to face on "Monday Night Football", October 24.  Brock Osweiler makes his return to Denver in this road game, looking to show that the hosts made a mistake in letting him go this past offseason. [The quarterback took more money to sign with Houston]. The Texans sit at the top at the AFC South with 4-2 record.  Broncos' 2nd-year quarterback Trevor Siemian led them to the same 4-2 record.  Siemian wants to bounce back after bad showing in a Denver loss 13-21 ("by the numbers" - number 21 is an outgrowth of 13) to the San Diego Chargers.  Denver hasn’t played well in the past 2 weeks, and they’re now tied for the 1st place in the AFC West.  Even though they are on a 2-game losing streak and have the same record as the Texans, Denver Broncos are expected to win the game tonight. Denver gave up 44 total points ["by the numbers"] in their 2 defeats.  On the other hand, Houston has faced some of the NFL’s top scoring defenses: In those games, Houston Texans have failed to score a lot of points, averaging less than 11 points per game. Denver's head coach Gary Kubiak shall comeback for tonight's game.  With that, Denver Broncos should show why they won Super Bowl 50:  Thus, I pick the Denver Broncos with the Spread of (+1.5 points).

UPDATE October 25, 2016 - FINAL Result: Denver Broncos  27-9  Houston Texans.  Denver played great football, as we expected, in a 27-9 win over Houston Texans. Coach Gary Kubiak returned to the sideline, and the Broncos, now 5-2, snapped a 2-game skid by causing Houston Texans' record on the road to become 0-3. Tr. Siemian outplayed Osweiler, as he was 14 of 25 for 157 yards, a TD and no INT.
